Perziken
This pure wine contains only 69 Kcal, whereas a regular wine often has >100 Kcal. We used the method of the famous Decanter to calculate the calories. Because there is no sugar (and carbohydrates) in the wine, the calories are much lower! Alcohol also contributes to calories, but it also carries the flavor of the wine. Because we also stand for 'delicious,' we have sought a good balance between no sugar, limited alcohol content, and full flavor. Otherwise, the wine wouldn't be wine anymore. And wine should be enjoyed consciously!
The wine is fully fermented dry, so all sugar has been converted into alcohol. The grapes are harvested at just the right time so that the sugar content is not too high, ensuring that the alcohol level doesn't become too high when all the sugars are fermented.
Our wine has 80 ppm, whereas regular wine contains 200 ppm. White wines typically have more sulfites than red wines. This is because red wines contain tannins from the red skins, which also act as preservatives. Since we work with pure, whole, hand-picked grapes, we can work cleanly. Therefore, we don't need additional preservatives (that's sulfites). Our wines require less than half the usual amount of sulfites.
This wine is organically made, meaning there are no chemical residues to be found in the wine. The grape bunches are processed within an hour in the wine cellars, preventing wild fermentation, and eliminating the need to stabilize the wine or remove any bacteria. Pure nature in the bottle.

Employees in France are typically well-paid, that's true! However, in this case, Fair Trade principles are driven by the necessity to ensure fair compensation for the French winemaker to properly cultivate the land. Working organically entails extra costs and certainly requires more knowledge and manpower. Additionally, the yields per vine in this area are much smaller to produce truly intense, pure wines. All of this deserves appreciation. The vineyard workers have been employed by the family business for years, ensuring them a sustainable income.
The vineyards are located near Mont Ventoux in the Costières de Nîmes region. Our winemaker truly considers all processes. For example, they use environmentally friendlier machinery and minimize disturbances to the natural environment, ensuring optimal conditions for the local flora and fauna.
The wines are clarified, or 'fined,' using bentonite (fine clay) and chickpea protein. This process filters the wine and ensures that any remaining particles, such as small pieces of skin, bind together and settle to the bottom. Sometimes, this process is done using (pork) gelatin or other animal proteins. In our case, we use a pure product directly from nature.

Wine fact

The Grenache and Vermentino (known as Rolle in France) grapes grow on poor soils covered with a thick layer of Rhône stones. A very thin layer of limestone provides a surprising elegance, freshness, and mineral character that you can taste in the wine. You’ll experience flavors of ripe peach, fresh pear, and apricot, seemingly carried by the breeze from the surrounding orchards.

Wine's path

Due to its high altitude and the presence of abundant flora and fauna, the wines absorb some of the taste influences from the Provence region, such as lavender and rosemary. A wonderfully fragrant, soft warm breeze ensures that the plants are dried by the wind, preventing the formation of molds. Hence the name ‘Beautiful Breeze.’ During harvest, the grapes are taken to a cool room in the Chateau where they are immediately pressed. The fresh juice from these pure grapes slowly undergoes fermentation, and after a few months, we have a beautiful, pure wine that smells, feels, and tastes like a vacation to the beautiful northern Provence.
